I’m a multidisciplinary artist creating AI-assisted visual art since 2020. I like to play with a lot of tools, but one of my favorite things is experimenting with neural networks, deep learning, and deep dream codes in Python/PyTorch.
I’m using those algorithms to enhance the patterns in an image, and this process is what creates the dream-like psychedelic appearance of my pieces by over-processing the image to a point of madness.
Depending on the codes I use, it creates different patterns. If you start to push the boundaries while experimenting with those, it’s going to create something quite disturbing, but I'm fascinated by how scary and ugly computer dreams can be.
